The Pearl of the The Pecos Arts & Cultural District would like to invite you to invest in the future of Carlsbad's creative economy & sustainability. The Pearl of the Pecos Arts and Cultural District is derived from the nonprofit 501(c)3, Creative Carlsbad Arts Council. After a rigorous application process to receive state designation, Creative Carlsbad Arts Council can now claim the Pearl of the Pecos Arts and Cultural District as a “State Authorized Arts & Cultural District”. In order to achieve the initiatives set forth for, operational and implementation funding must be achieved.
The City of Carlsbad supports the work of Creative Carlsbad Arts Council, and has contributed significantly to the effort by providing fiduciary support to employ a member of staff as Executive Director. Funding raised through the Patrons of the Arts program will be invested 100% in the creative economy of Carlsbad, and applied appropriately toward the execution of the Pearl of the Pecos Arts & Culture District Initiatives.
