Each September, the Pearl of the Pecos Arts & Culture District hosts a free community event at the Halagueno Arts Park, called, HeritageFest.Celebrating the rich culture and history in our community, this festival has something for everyone. Fest-goers enjoy live music,cultural demonstrations such as black-smithing, quilting, roping, Native American Jewelry making, line dancing, and so much more. We celebrate Carlsbad's dynamic traditions and celebrate our heritage. Fest-goers indulge in a wide variety of food trucks, and local craft vendors.
